CHICKEN INN FC responded to their League title challenge which was fading away in the last few weeks with a crucial 2-1 away win at Champions FC Platinum on Saturday

The Game Cocks who had suffered back to back 1-0 defeats in weeks 4 and 5 of the league after an opening three match unbeaten run, this time changed the script after dismissing Ngezi 2-0 at Luveve stadium during the week.

Chicken Inn raced to a 2-0 lead with goals from Valentine Kandonzvo for his second of the season as well as defender Guide “MR G” Goddard, in what was his first of the season.

Albert Eonde got the consolation for FC Platinum, to be the top goal scorer at the club with five goals.

NGEZI PLATINUM STARS FC also returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Herentals at the Baobab Stadium. Ngezi scored through Bruno Mtigo, his 4th of the season and Ariel Makopa who picked his first of the season.

At Rufaro stadium former Warriors assistant coach Rahman Gumbo was left satisfied after his Tel One held Dynamos to a goalless draw at Rufaro stadium. It was the 28th goalless draw that the league had witnessed this season.

Bulawayo Chiefs 3-3 Caps United, FC Platinum 1-2 Chicken Inn, Dynamos 0-0 Tel One and Ngezi Platinum stars 2-0 Herentals.
