Harare city coach Mark Harrison has revealed that Ngezi Platinum Stars is championship material after his team went down 3-1, as Ngezi made it 14 matches unbeaten in their opening 14 matches of the season.
Harare City world crumbled in the 18th minute after Terence Dzukamanja came to the end of a James Nguluve pass to put Madamburo 1-0 after city defenders went to sleep. It was his 8th goal of the season.
City tried to gain ground but thier strikers of Kuda Musharu and William Manondo were passengers and were substituted.
An ambitious shot by Godknows Murwira was parried by Ryan Harrison in goals for City and from there a fine corner kick by Michael Charamba was headed in by Kenneth Bulaji to double Ngezi lead after 26 minutes for his first goal of the season.
Ten min after the breather James Nguluve made 3-0, the goal came through the involvement of Walter Mukanga and enterprising Michael Charamba.
Charamba won possession in the middle of the park and took on City defenders before laying to Mukanga who later laid to Nguluve to slot home for his third goal of the season.
Harrison brought in Wilfred Muvirimi for Musharu in the 72nd minute and five minutes later he pulled one for the visitors from a Tafadzwa Chimwemwe assist, his second goal of the season and also the second in consecutive matches.
